Affiliation and Amazon astore

Should I open up an astore?

Currently I been looking into affiliation as another means of generating some cash, and I stumbled upon Amazon astore. I feel as if I'm very late in finding out all this wonderful stuff. I'm a little skeptical about this astore concept though, since I thought to myself, "why not just go directly to the main site when I want to buy something?" This is what I'm unsure about, because wouldn't it be more logical to head directly to bestbuy, circitcity, compusa, or any other electornic electronic websites and stores to look at the products you would wanna buy ? It just makes more sense to me. Yet I've found some who had made some generous amount of cash from these type of stores, thus making it seem a bit more legitimate.

I'm gonna do a little bit more research on atore from Amazon and see how realistic it is to actually make something out of it. The good thing is that its free to make so I have nothing to lose.
