Paid to Read ?

10 cents in 10 days....not worth my time

If you go into a search engine and type "get paid to read emails," you'll likely find plenty of these sites that offer you the opportunity to earn some cash by simply reading advertiser emails that they send to you. The thought of this sounded simple enough for me so I decided to sign up for a couple of them to see what they are really like. Well it turns out that its very hard to make any amount of money using these get paid to read emails programs. All of these sites claim that I could get pay without requiring a minimum payout. My first impression was, "That's great!" but I soon found out that it takes days or even weeks to just make $0.15! That's right, 15 CENTS. Man, that's just horrible! And in addition to this, the "no minimum payout system only works if you're a gold member, otherwise all free members have to earn at least $1.00 or $2.00 in order to get pay from pay-pal.

The reason why is because all these sites don't send you enough email on a daily basis for you to be making any kind of money, instead you have to wait several days just to get enough emails to make 5 cent. The majority of the email that they send you are those "point based mails," which are pretty much worthless unless you intend to redeem them for banner ads to advertise your site. Each mail that I've received from one of these sites paid me about 0.02 cents (less than a penny) each and I'm only getting roughly 0-1 emails per days from each of these sites. But thank goodness that there is no minimum payout for anyone of them. Now I unofficially have 10 cents in my pay-pal account using several of these sites for 10 days.
